Sweet Ada Textiles

Charlotte Auckland is a linocut printmaker living in Warwickshire. Designing images for textile has been a natural progression for Charlotte who exploits a graphic style to describe her favourite ceramics, fruit & flora. The linocut prints Charlotte designs, print well on the linen and cotton fabrics chosen for Sweet Ada Textiles.

Sketching freely on the lino plate with inspiration from a flower, a piece of fruit or with an abstract idea, Charlotte’s designs evolve freely. Working from her small studio at the bottom of the garden, with the radio for company. Charlotte hand-prints each piece of textile before passing them to Kirsty Goodall for some stitchery magic.

I was lucky enough to find myself at Fosse House Gallery a few weeks ago. The knowledgeable and friendly owner Shenac, has a wonderful eye and her creative space was packed full of delightful art and gifts. I couldn’t resist leaving without several packets of her delightful signature ‘bee’ cards. I will definitely be back.

Just to say a very big thank you for the excellent framing of our picture, and for all the helpful suggestions and ideas, and good advice – we really love the result! It looks like a totally new picture, it seems to have brought it to life. We will be back.

You have done a great job of framing our Dior vintage poster – after many years we are now about to enjoy it! Excellent Jonny!! Lovely gallery, we wish you every success.

Just had 2 pictures framed of my artwork and am SO pleased with how professional they now look! Jonny was so helpful and took time helping me choose the right frame & knew exactly what I wanted. I’m a novice at this, but Jonny made me feel not only great for such a good job he made on framing my work, but gave my confidence a bit of a boost! Definitely bringing my artwork here again. Thanks Jonny! See you soon! Give Sox a cuddle from me.

Thanks for doing such a great job with the Hockney print. It’s now hanging in the hall for all to see and looks fabulous.
